New girl from Leics/Berks saying hello

Welcome to the forum,

as you have already said - not a bad bunch on here,

Well, like most places - there are some really great folk & a selection of muppets,

So ask away, search around, and don’t take everything as Gospel, and you won’t go far wrong,

Best Wishes with the training, and good luck with the Job Hunting

Hello & Welcome

Hi everyone,

I’ve already posted a question here, but thought I ought to introduce myself.

My name’s Sadie and I’m originally from Leicestershire, now living in Berkshire.

I wanted to get an HGV licence many years ago, but the cost was always out of my range, so for a long time I’ve been doing marketing as my job. Life has changed and I decided to bite the bullet and book myself on a course. Decided to go with Cat C to start with and see how things go. Didn’t want to go all the way to committing to C+E just yet, but if things go to plan then I hope to progress to artics.

In my spare time I like being out on my motorbike, muddy mountain biking, watching football, going to the pub and have spend many years offroading in a 4x4 I modified myself. Have added some pics (below) for fun!

Have found some amazing info on this forum and have read most of the newbie stuff. Already started to try and change my “go as fast as possible and break as late as possible” (bad) commuter driving habits and learn MSM all over again - wondered what them flashy orange things were for! lol

Anyway, that’s enough from me. I’m off around the forum to soak up more useful information
