Hi everybody
I am a new hgv driver class C,passed test on 18/01/13,i live in a little village on the cambridgeshire,lincolnshire border,
so i can cover a lot of area to gain employment,do any of you good people have any tips as all i seem to be getting
is you need experience or no replies back at all.
Also i am now wondering wether to do my C+E course,what do you people think?would it be an advantage to get them
both on my licence,the final question for now is what is easy for C+E, wagon+drag or tractor+trailer.

Do CE ASAP because the same 2 year thing will happen again
If under age 25 with less than X amount of time holding the relevant category then that puts you at the bottom of the heap in most cases
If you can afford c+e, then as ROG said - DO IT NOW.
Don’t get bogged down with “wagon & drag v artic” thought. Neither is harder or easier than the other. Different yes, but that’s all you want is C+E category on your licence.
I had many years gap between class c (hgv 2) and C+E (class 1) but drove W&D for many years. I only wish I did my C+E much sooner.
