Passed my class 2 and Cpc last week. Looking for the career change, have been for ages bit only recently have I been able to afford to put myself through the tests.
Anybody know of any work in the worcester area that accept newly qualified drivers?

Drove past Whites at Pershore the other day and they had a sign outside looking for drivers saying new pass welcome. Rates weren’t bad either. Not top top rate but I’ve seen worse in lots of other places

You hear bad stuff about all companies mate. When was the last time you heard someone not moan about a job lol it’s what we do especially drivers.
If you’re a new pass you probs want to be willing yo accept sone of the ■■■■■■ companies until something better comes along and then you’ll have experience for when the next door opens

A lot of it is also down to preference. Like what someone else hates you might enjoy. Like I do general haulage and love it because of the variety of places I drop to. Some hate it because its can vary wildly etc etc.
Best advice I can give is to get out there and try stuff. Even if your latest job is not for you then at least you’re in the industry gaining experience and are also in a position where you’ll see a lot more opportunity and speak to people who know of other places.

Yeah I get that mate. I’m looking forward to getting out there and once you have your foot in the door the opportunities seem to be there once you have a bit of experience under your belt. Thanks for all the advice mate
