Just joined the forum and wanted to steal a bit of ur knowledge.I passed my class 2 on 2010 willing to go for the c+e.
I came in the uk in 2008 and started working in TNT warehouse. While I was coming back home from work the police stopped me as i had no insurance in the car they put me 6 points in IN10 (no insurance). In 2010 passed my class 2 and in 2011 wanted to start new career as a lgv driver. So I kept applying, calling agencies… Some of them said that I had no experience ,some of them said it is because of the points.
So finally on 19 December 2012 I will have CLEAN license. and 2 years with the LGV .That means new jobs .
So i came here for some information i need .I would like to know about the adr courses or what u need for the car transporter any certificates.
Sorry for my bad english, am spanish anyone who speaks spanish or not welcome.
I bet that that u call not great jobs are far better than the warehouses like tnt and well paid.
R u on the class 2 or u moved to the trailer?
Many thanks

Others can offer advice on the ADR courses but I don’t believe that there’s any courses specifically for car transporters.

Remember with insurance purposes you almost always have to declare any points/convictions/accidents etc within the last 5 years.
Hi tarrman
if i dont declare points/convictions/accidents is there any way that they could know about them?
many thanks
Prob not but if caught then they will come down heavily on you & may be penalised or refused insurance or insurance cancelled & insurance comp sometimes share info like that so be careful
If you are involved in an accident they will find out
