New driver saying hello

Hi,

Names joe but been called fritz for several years now, I’m 25 from essex passed my class 2 in December after being a chauffeur in London for 4 years and done an apprentiship at iveco when I left school.

I’ve been offered a job with a cement mixer firm local to me now it’s not what I want to do but I understand that it’s an opportunity to get in the cab and get some driving hours just thought I’d see if anyone has an opinion or experience…?

Thanks

Fritz

Cement mixer work will test driving skills to small places. It is good experience.Muddy yards and building sites. They will have heavy machines to pull the truck out of the mud.

You say it’s not what you want to do, what do you want to do?

Not 100% sure would have liked some trunking work rather thrown in at the deep end getting stuck in the mud etc
