firstly i am a new pass i have had my licence to drive class 1 for 3 weeks i have just left my old job and have recently found a new one working as a class 1 driver which i start Monday, however i need some advice as the company i will be working for i will be classed as self employed and want to go down the routes of setting up a Limited company and getting an accountant etc. i have had a quick read of a few posts on here and on other forums but nothing directly answers my questions.
I live in the west midlands not far from Birmingham i am looking for a local accountant and would be grateful if someone would be able to recommend a good one as i have never dealt with one in the past i do not know what to look for and rough prices i should expect to pay… i know from other posts some have said the more you pay the more tax u get back etc i don’t wanna pay stupid amounts unless its worth it, i would have thought most accountants should know the same tax loopholes and know how to get the most back…?
also i would like some advise on how to set up the limited company where do i go? does it cost any thing and should i set up a business account with the bank etc ?
if anyone has any other constructive advice that they could give a new starter any help would be great…
