I am newly passed (Class 1&2) and looking for work (preferably class 2 while I get used to trucking in either the Birmingham area or South Wales. I’m not afraid of a little hard work, just finding it hard due to my lack of experience.

Sending emails is a waste of time, nobody replies.
Sending Cv,s the same.It means driving around in person.
Locate small operators by looking on the Dvsa/Vosa website under applications/decisions listing their addresses.
If it means driving an old rust bucket.
You should be able to get ‘c’ work, albeit multi drop. You push yourself forward & show them you can do the work, & be prepared to work .
Now is the time to push in somewhere as it is getting busier now before easter, after easter some places will be not so desperate for drivers .
P&H in coventry are always recruiting fella,not sure if it’s too far away but normally early starts so traffic wise should only be a 30/45 min drive to work.
