New Driver - C1 to C - need mod 2 and 4?

If you driver professionally with a C1 and have got your DCPC card and then go to do your class C - do you have to still sit mods 2 and 4 - ?

One of our lads have just passed his C class, and has come to see how much holiday he has left so he can book time off for mod 2 and 4 - but i am not sure if this is necessary.

NO

The DQC covers ALL LGV categories

The DSA system should not allow him to book either mods 2 or 4 of the initial dcpc

No need to do the tests.
He’d be better off putting the time & money into his 35 hrs of D-CPC training.
