hi i have recently gained my class 2 and class 1 license and completed the initial cpc and have been visiting companies in my local are (dudley and surroundings) but no luck ( same old 2 years experience).
do any of the knowledgeable folk on here know of any companies around dudley /west bromwich etc that are willing to take new drivers on that i can aproach with my cv to try and get on the road.

Too far away i know but Robert Wiseman dairies in Andover Wiltshire take on newbies.
And Co op are down the road too.
Wisemans have a depot in Bridgwater Somerset.

You could try Wiseman dairy and Yodel in Willenhall or nightfrieght, or poundland in Bilston.i remember the same what your up against many moons ago, you could try an agency theres Purestaff in Bilston.

Have a Google search of the local parcel depots in your area,multi drop van work or smaller trucks,it is a good way to get road network knowledge.
Eures website for job searches and Gumtree, or Rapido.
Another option is the free magazine Trade It, i have seen drivers jobs in that.
