Diesel dog talked about what drivers should do in a desperate situation not me, so I can only assume he thinks all those drivers parked there were in a desperate situation with only 4 minutes to spare like dozy.

Back on topic it’s appalling and inconsiderate parking here and drivers have only got themselves to blame for losing that spot. I doubt all of those drivers where right on their time and could have found a better spot.

Let’s forget the rdc ■■■■ easy stuff that you’re used to for a minute.
You’ve just come off a Calais to Dover night boat, you’ve got about an hour and a half left because you’ve been sensible enough to plan a bit of time.
You get held up at a check, you’ve got less than an hour left to drive through Kent, to get n/bound, the few t.stops are rammed, all the lay bys the same,.and all you’ve got are ind estates that are ran by the truck haters, so you get nicked by camera if you get caught parking.

Try and imagine for a minute in all your years of tramping you’ve told me about, that you’re doing a proper job where planners don’t tell you when to wipe your arse, but you have to think for yourself…and tell us what you would do this time, preferably, in the form of a solution rather than a generalised and vague statement.

Yes rob that is fine. But every single one of those drivers in that picture has been held up at Calais have they and all decided to dump themselves on that road so no other road users can pass without causing havoc?

Nah it was just me mate hanging on to Dicky like a terrier, trying to get him to prove to me he knew what tf he was talking about…but if you read back, he’s failed miserably with his generalised answers and sound bites.
Thing is mate,.to explain…I’ve been sat on my own in the garden in the sun all day (well apart from the dog) sat necking Budweisers all day, while the Mrs was at work …providing for me.
Got a bit bored, was in the mood for a fight (as I usually used to be after a few beers ) , but these days all I can manage is a slanging match on Trucknet …not as fiery and sprightly as I once was, so second best having a pop at old Dicky boy on a forum. .
Yes Tesco litchfield , fully expected to park up at Cannock , but as earlier they have now put a list of products you can’t drop & swap on ( coca - cola being the one I had on which is on list ) so you have to be tipped ,which took 2 1/2 hrs & I need my keys now , which they gave me as said tipped , as I say I expected to be in and gone in 1/2 as normal ,
If I’d of had 15 mins I’d of chucked it in lay-by on a38
That road was chaos though , that wide path on right as you come out of Tesco , cars were having to mount the kerb & drive along that to pass lorries ,
