New domestic abuse investigations unit launched in Hatfield

The Domestic Abuse Investigation and Safeguarding Unit (DAISU) started operating on Monday, January 11,.

The unit, which consists of a team of over sixty specialist officers and staff, is based at Hatfield police station and will deal with domestic abuse cases from across the county.

It will operate from 7 am until 11 pm seven days a week and will deal with cases of intimate relationship domestic abuse, so-called honour based abuse and forced marriage.
