Might seem a silly q to some but if I work 8 hours but only spend 3-4 hours driving do I only need 30 mins break and if so can I take it in two 15 mins break or does it need to be one 30 min break■■?
You can work up to 8.59 hours on a 30mins break and you can take it in 2X15mins or 1X30mins, its up to you.
Whats the difference between a class 2 d rivet, and a bog standard metal rivet?
Does anyone know?

As has been said, as your total working time is not over nine hours you only need a 30 minute break and it can be taken if two separate breaks of at-least 15 minutes each.
Breaks for the working time regulations cannot be taken at the immediate start of the shift or the immediate end of the shift.
Thanks for the advice does the break have to start before a max of 6 hrs work has been done??spose I should learn how to spell driver before worrying about complicated stuff like beak times…
Yes your first break has to be before 6 hours is up.

For the working time regulations you need to start a break of at-least 15 minutes before going over six hours working time, at no time during the shift should you do more than six hours working time without a break of at-least 15 minutes.
Driving breaks also count as working time breaks and vice versa where appropriate.

I wish you’d stop putting yourself down mate … it leaves nothing for the rest of us to do
Seriously though, there’s nothing wrong with the question and on this board it’s reckoned to be pretty lame to criticise peoples spelling errors, that’s not to say you won’t occasionally get a bit of friendly ribbing for spelling typos, but for the most part it’s just friendly banter, if anyone gets too critical of spelling errors they’re generally put down pretty quick
Thanks for the help I can take the criticism
As long as I get what I’m looking for. That clears things up I had my card downloaded at work and the manager was adamant I must have an half hour in one block b4 the 6 hours are up, I read it differently and wanted to try and confirm b4 my next download so I can challenge him, all the other drivers blindly follow he’s instructions now I know why they are out so lite (or is that late)
I always thought if the lites were out it was still daytime…
