Choose best overall in terms of driver comfort, gadgets, best gearbox, storage etc etc
Merc or Volvo I think for me.
i would choose to win the lottery and never have to get behind the wheel of one again!!!
Would be the XF for me, but not the ZF Auto. The 12 speed Manual in the new one would be nice.

I agree entirely with what you have posted , keep it simple and you wont go wrong .

Tipper work is still largely a Manual’s game, the odd Auto we’ve had round here has been about as popular as Jimmy Saville’s name in a childrens home.
Plus it’s not proper driving with an auto imo.
My truck would be a bit from each
The seats after be MAN’s
The gearbox be volvo ishift
The cab merc new giga space
The engine from a scania r620
And it got to be in British racing green with gold lettering
