Hi guys I have a driver at work who passed his mod 4 today. Does he have to wait for his dqc card to arrive before driving or can he carry copies of all his pass certificates until everything comes? Sorry if this has been asked before.
You can use the certificates but a lot of firms want to see the card
He has worked for us for years but only driving vans so we put him for c1 we don’t mind just the certificate was just checking it was legal.

Yep card will probably turn up Tuesday
I had the same problem trying to prove to my boss that my pass certificate was ok to drive on.
Although certificate says you can drive until card arrives, it also says to confirm with them first that their records had been updated.
What I did was ring the cpc department at DVSA and they sent me email confirmation that I’d passed all modules and was good to drive, my boss accepted this.
