Has anyone here got a new Actros? If so,where is the radio fitted?
Only I’m seriously thinking of buying one of those new all singing,all dancing Pioneer AVIC-X1 navigation/video/CD/radio combo’s.
The only thing is,if I get a new Merc late next year I want to be sure I can see it.
The old Merc Mega-Space had the radio slot down under the dash in a fold out drawer.
So before I part with my hard earned cash,I want to explore all the pitfalls.
Its mounted in the shelf above the windscreen next to the tacho.
Oh!
I’ll forget that then and go for a normal nav system with a seperate screen.

It should work alright up there, at least you’ll be able to see it in strong sunlight.
