Years ago I saw one of those mixer chutes break free and swing out and belt a bus windscreen
Will the insurance company try and get out of paying out on the grounds of “Shouldn’t have been up his arse”?

More than likely with the concrete evidence…

They could invoice for providing a first class layer of anti stone chip.
All things in the mix would the claim stick and be set in stone?
I will get me coat …
It will come off with a bit of T-Cut.
I think if it was my car I’d be running around looking for a hose pipe before it starts setting.

There will be one on the mixer . More likely done in Queing traffic but have no concrete evidence of that
Clearly a SLUMP in driving standards.

Not much point really. The gravel and sand would have done the damage already as it comes out.
Haha that looks like the drivers discharged a bit from the cab. I’ve been tempted myself in the past! Always be careful round mixers though, if it’s a full drum and a reasonable wet mix it can come out the back uphill, pulling off quick or cornering too fast. Or if the butterflies haven’t been cleaned properly after tipping it’ll fall out on a sharp corner lol.
I’ve had the shoot get Un latched in the past too and could easily see it smashing a screen.
Oh and they’ll easily drive their self onto their side when carrying a stiff load, usually likely to fall onto the drivers side.

I was wondering if that was possible; never driven a mixer meself so I wouldn’t know.
looks like a 6-7 slump…keep the mixer turning or it will puke out …not good.easy done . james

On some yes. Most have double Controls so it can be done from the cab or the back

Drove one years ago, that could only be discharged from the back.
I’ve seen mixers with controls inside the cab, I assume these override those at the rear?
I’d say the car driver has concrete evidence.
