As title says. £9.20 for one number - self connected. Someone needs their face altering.

Yea, OP, why did you phone these parasites to Google a number for you, when you could have done it yourself for free?
I think they’re starting to get a bit worried on that front with 3G and 4G getting better going by their adverts. Eventually there won’t really be much need for directory enquiries unless you’ve not got a fairly upto date phone or are truly in the middle of nowhere, but then can you get any signal.
Didn’t realise how much they charged but looks like that’s not far off the min charge especially if it’s from a mobile too, ouch! Don’t think I’ll be bothering them in the future.
The Phone companies have surpassed the London Banks for money laundering.
Think: If the phone company bills you for a £1000 per minute call to some offshore number or even an expensive call for pretty much very little of anything at all - then that billing process is aiding and abetting nothing more than a legal scam.
The same applies to ISPs with big issue things like online Terrorist activity and/or Kiddie ■■■■ being put through their servers…
They could do something about it - but they won’t. Not “Can’t” - Won’t.
