Well my XG has sprung a leak, water is trickling down radar sensor
So 2 days earlier than expected
coming in and trickling down the radar sensor
Truck is a 22 plt so not surprised as it’s a DAF

Not something I’ve seen in ours & weve a lot , we had initial issues with loads of messages comming up on dash but not seen any for a while , to be honest reliability wise they’ve been spot on
I still prefer our scanias but there not bad at all ( xg ) .
Nb when I brought my new focus the first time it rained the car was flooded , as high as back seats in the car , they eventually stripped the complete interior out & resealed all the seams in the car ( cured it ) , bit later it went in for a accident repair ( someone hit it ) & I got a call from repairs saying did I know my car had been in a very big bang at the back & the repair was terrible ( probably why all the seems were cracked on the car ) repairs went back to insurance & eventually they agreed to do the extra work that was needed .
I’ve still the water marks all over the back seat
Aye our 72plt leaks in the drivers side corner of windscreen. Fairly standard lol
My truck is a march 22 truck
Badly fitted windscreen. We have a couple of ours that do it on the passenger side. Be grateful it’s not one that whistles. We have several where either once you get up to above 50MPH or its a windy day and you’re driving into a headwind you get a constant high pitched whine noise.
My drivers door is like an Iveco for wind noise
The whistler’s were the previous gen Dafs…
Oh damn, some of our older Scanias would do that, but on the nearside passenger window. The newer ones were alright, but with miles and toil the winds are a nightmare for noise on some.
Turns out bodged body repair by body shop before I took truck on
It had some repair work and they didn’t seal it properly
