Personally I’d say a 17" laptop, open on the dash, obscures too much windscreen for it to be used safely as a sat-nav. If your only going to use it when you’re parked up it would be great for watching DVDs, playing games, reading posts on TruckNetUK, etc.

yea ive not got the attention span to sit and use this as a sat nav…as most of you know

plus the battery life aint the best on this. bout 2.5 hours but thats because of everything ive had added to it, backlit keyboard etc.

Buying a Dell is like buying a BMW.

Anything worth adding to make it half decent is a cost option. :laughing: :laughing:

Do Dell also charge for not putting a Dell badge on it?
