am looking into buying a netbook since my lappy packed in some time ago but whilst looking i noticed 3 network are offering a dongle with 15gig for £15pm, i used to use 02 for the same price for 3 gig i just thought that either thats a good deal or ive been getting ripped off for some time 
02 was crap anyway, whats the 3 network like for coverage?

I have a netbook and a 3 dongle, I’m using it now. 3 is one of the best for coverage and download speeds, and i find 15g far more than enough for my use. On the down side, a netbook is no substitution for a full size laptop. If all you want is to surf the net and download emails, write the odd letter, then they are great, but don’t expect them to handle, say, imageing or high quality video. I can play films back on mine from an external drive, and can even connect it to my TV for full screen viewing, but it does have it’s limitations.
Have found 3 to be great, started out with a full range of suppliers on pay as you go while I worked out who was best.
That 15gig for £15 a month is a 2 year contract which put me off so I went for 5gig for £15 a month on a 30 day rolling contract.
As to netbook versus laptop, I prefer laptop as its easier to use and better to watch films on but I have a friend who prefers netbook as the battery lasts for hours (possibly 6) compared to laptop of about 1 hour.
I got the laptop free from on online mobile phone upgrade, you just get a crap phone, but am not bothered about gimiky phones.
I am on 3 with my iphone and there is hardly anywhere that there is no signal, I was on O2 and there 3g signal is pathetic. There is a 3 deal called the one plan, it is the only plan to offer truly unlimited internet for £25 a month plus you get loads of minutes and calls. You could get this sim, stick it in an android phone or an iphone and then use the wireless hotspot apps to access the internet via the phone.
i use the three network on my lappy. never had a problem getting a signal. i certainly recommend three.
I use Three too with my Lappy, only once ever had a problem with a signal out in the sticks, apart from that I can’t really knock it.

both on my laptop and my ipod touch ! ( it’s one of the wifi dongles)
the signal is good , better now than when I got the first one 2-3 years ago , doesn’t work at home though !!
