Nestle York

Does anyone know which agency that Nestle York use for their Class 1 work? Any pointers appreciated.

Can’t help with agency sorry but what I will say is there work is decent. I used to work for a company that subbed a few of their columns, that is what they call the runs. Everything timed on your run sheet generally with plenty of margin for disruption. If I could source a regular Colomn through a local haulier I would massively consider it. They sub a lot of the ■■■■ work as single deliveries we used to get a lot of them and back them up with other naff work leading to crap days. But column work is like stealing a living compared to that.

Thanks for that. I’d heard the same. I do work for a decent company at the mo who stick by the rules literally but it’s too far away for me to do so looking to similar near York. Want to work for likes of Nestle but no knowledge of how to hence the post.

Just be careful as a guy died there recently :frowning:

a pallet of chocolate fell on him and for three hours he kept calling out for help but every time he shouted " The Milky Bars are on Me !! "…

…everyone cheered

Done the Nestle column work myself, ffs anything over a 8hr night is considered a big night. Saying that they did give me a very long night once, 15mins short of a full 15hr but that was a one off. Think you will find that getting in at York is nigh on impossible, proper dead mans shoes job, but for 42k a year and easy, easy work it ain`t surprising.
