Need to park up for an hour in Gisburn!

I have an appointment @ Gisburn park Hospital on Monday ( nhs not private before you ask). I’ve arranged with my boss I’ll carry on after with my drops. I just need to find a place to park as near as poss as I can’t take the truck up the drive. There used to be an Auction Mart in Gisburn I wonder if I could park there?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

i went to that hospital lst week delivering gas in a rigid we coudnt get through the archway so we moffated it down the road for half a mile if your in a artic make sure you reverse up to the archway from the main drag plenty off room for cars to pass keep it tight up to the wall you will be ok then thewalk is quite painstaicking lol

yeh if your in a rigid no probs theres only one way in its jst off the a59 signposted from it its not the hight its the width off your truck i just came off the a59 following sat nav then pulled up against a wall arch in front off me then walked down was there 2 hours no problems very quiet no yellow lines or out

You will not have a problem parking at Gisburn auction mart on the LHS coming north into gisburn as long as there is no auction on! good luck

Auctions are Monday, Thursday and alternate Saturdays, other than that nobody will bother you.

Must be a wide rigid i got my Volvo 8 legger through no probs? My sister works there and she say that the 6336 wagons get through!! :stuck_out_tongue: if your coming from Clitheroe towards Gisburn go past the Auction Mart then take 2nd left (WHITE BUILDING ON CORNER,CAFE ACROSS THE ROAD ON THE RIGHT, drive past some houses on your left, big stone wall on your right then you come TO THE ARCH!! drive through follow your nose. If you park at the auction it will take 15 to 20 mins to walk it,s a fair way down :open_mouth: Oh yeah get your dinner from the Auction cafe!! cheap as chips and you need a rope to climb it :smiley:
