Can someone please explain how to set a stoneridge tacho for getting on and off a ferry while taking daily rest? And if done correctly will it continue the break time on the display the from where it was before I drove on the ferry?
I tried a search but couldn’t find a definitive answer and will be getting on the boat in a few hours. Cheers.
Taken from the Stoneridge website.
Press the OK button once and then use the up and down buttons to navigate to “Places”. In the “Places” menu you can select “Ferry” or “Out of Scope”. The SE5000 Exakt Duo² supports Ferry/Train special conditions within the DDS functionality.
Hope this helps
Cheers I just found a good detailed post on it by coffeeholic viewtopic.php?f=2&t=81139&p=1097594#p1097594
If you find a way of making it continue from where you were last on break please let me know because I have to drive with tacho light on and all the daily rest and daily drivetime warnings every Monday after shipping on a sunday night.
