Hey there! just got my C Class HGV as i’m looking for career change. How do i get the driving experience that is needed for some prospective employers?? Have already posted and emailed c.vs with cover letter for job enquiry and joined a couple if agencies and job emailing lists. What else can i do? cheers

if you find somewhere to get experience then let us all know. there are folks on here that cant get a job with 20 years experience so what hope have newbies got. i guess its just a case of keep on plugging away at the companies in your area and see what you can get, if anything! or stay where you are as the transport is on the brink of a major shutdown (IMHO), there are companies going to the wall left right and centre and the government are dong nothing about it. if you have a job you would be wise to stay with that, even if you hate it, as transport is on very shaky ground at the moment. good luck in your search as there is no harm looking i suppose
as for the digital tacho thing, don’t fall for the scam that you need training before its issued, you don’t, as for use it is very simple, if you have a search on the search facility you will find something, (i would do it for you but I’m a bit tired and cant be arsed as my dog needs to go out and i don’t want to) or just ask someone to show you when you get to your first job, trust me they are very simple to use.
