Is this to renew a current medical ? - if yes then why not simply renew the photo if not had a licence issued since October 2012
Tried it, it didn’t work. I applied for a new photocard on Tuesday 2nd June at a cost of £20. Got a letter from DVLA yesterday saying they won’t re issue my licence as I’m due a medical on 26/07/15.
Which is a bit a ■■■■■■ especially as I’m starting a new job on 29thJune, I can’t take up my new employment without a licence.

Is Rotherham too far?
There’s a doctor Singh (07976 810786) who opperates out of Brinsworth medical centre (opposite BOC) M1 J33/34 (01709 828806) he has em queued up on Saturday mornings. He did mine no problem. £30 ish give the medical centre a call and they’ll fix you up

Google DRIVERS’ MEDICALS IN THE NORTH EAST it’s about an hour with no traffic. Charges £50.00 had mine done there, very nice chap.
All the grief for what will be probably 5 min if that if your generally healthy chap. Took longer for me to get my opticians bit filled in as I did that first as I’d just has eyesight test. Dr was grateful he didn’t have to do that part!

L&T transport training at fitzwilliam mick,£70 and do them every wed and saturday mornings,i had one last saturday morning 
I called in a shop in Barnsley the other day and they told me I could have three doctors for a quid!
Weird thing is, they were all called Pepper.

Its no faffing about either m8,they show you how to fill the forms in ,medical takes about 5 mins …done

Chuffing hell wish id known that,I also did my training there never spotted anything about medicals. Would’ve saved me £50 going there,I’ll know for next time
