A446 shag.
always use 446 when go into Fradley , just watch for the speed cameras 
they have redone the one that was all blacked out nr the belfry so easier to see now
no reasoning to my route just more interesting road than A5

Im in no hurry I just enjoy the ride an them bendy bits are fine well used to em now keeps me from falling asleep just pointing the unit on the dc gets boring !!! nice to hear from ya
A446 every time
a few years ago, 2 of us were travelling the opposite direction, i went down the A38/A446 to J9, the idiot in the other truck went the wrong way, and went down the A5 to J10
it put him over 10 minutes behind me
ps, those who know the other driver, will know why i referred to him as that

very rare to find tesco motors on A446 now thanks to fleetboard 
as a5/m42 gives better scores
Same as Hinckley to m6 is now a5/m69/m6 instead of through Nuneaton
M42/A5 takes 13 and a half minutes from the same point at j9, sat at 54 all the way
