Your never more than 20ft from a Stobart, they are just like rats

Hi Martin. Appleton and Leeds nearest to you both sites need day and night trampers

good luck and hope you get a job with them. Keep us updated

probably goole is a depot short on drivers though having done tesco work i would suggest tramping work, if you look on the website there is probably jobs advertised

Sorry to steal the thread but I’ve just applied for Stobbies in Widnes.

Does anyone know what process do they use? as in do you have a formal interview or an assesment etc?? And how long before they contact you etc■■?

Actually, thinking about it, this may be where I fall down depending what it is.
I do containers round the NW and theres loads of waiting around to get loaded/unloaded so I never need to stop especially for a break and to be perfectly honest I’ve NEVER even used POA so I dont really know what it’s used for, perhaps someone can help me or give me the heads up.

POA is required if you want to work more than 48 hours a week. And is required to be recorded by your employer towards your Average working time over a 26 week or 17 week reference period. As i understand it!! i may be wrong and be corrected.

As for OP nearest to Sunderland would be Tesco Teesport or Carlisle but i would stay away from Carlisle as the drivers there always saying they don’t get enough hours in every week
