this is a question for ex or current forces guys really, does anyone know a site or address for naval servicemen records, as I have my late fathers papers and it seems he was stationed on merchant ships and the shore bases only list the length of time he was assigned to them for pay and administration purposes, he never spoke of the war and had died when I was 12 (I’m 62 now) so I did not get to know him very well, and now mums gone I thought I would try to see what I could learn but I have not been very successful with the sites I have found on the internet.
