NATURAL ROPE

I have tried to source a supplier for natural rope ie:manilla, hemp[v expensive] and sissal. The sizes vary from 1/4" to 1 inch and i will need 60mts to start with. The reason I have asked you owner drivers ,is because this site I have noticed, the drivers are very informative and helpful to ones plight.
I’m S/E on a utility contract, driving a grab and the way things are at work I would be lucky to see the month out such is the state of things. Being an ex sailor I have decided to use my past skills to do fancy knots, door mats, pot holders and other bits and pieces but don’t want to pay top dollar to ships chandlers, The truck suppliers around Birmingham only sell man made ropes. Even if you have a couple of coils of rope hanging up never used PM me we can work something out thanks

Try Splicing & Allied. i know their not local to you but they do all sorts of rigging stuff and may be able to help.

Thanks bignathy , No prices on the links so E-mailed them for prices the amount of times I’ve cut bits of lashings off coils then threw them away need a flat bed man saying that everything is ratchet and straps now
