National driving centre london?

Hi has anyone used NDC (NATIONAL DRIVING CENTRE LONDON) Im looking to do my class C with them

nationaldrivingcentre.co.uk/

Not heard of these but it looks good especially as you can do the free assessment and then decide whether to part with any money

National Driving Centre, Territorial Army Barracks, Mitcham Road, Croydon CR0 3RU = nice operating centre - I wonder if they test at that place or at a DSA test centre ■■?

It’s probably a typing mistake but it’s a bit surprising to see they reckon you have to be 21 to drive C+E

I reckon they do 2 to 1 and not 1 to 1 training as they state training is from 0800 to 1600 but I could be wrong …

Called them … they only do 2 to 1 training, they test LGVs at a DSA test centre and the C+E at age 21 is an error

Thanks

That raises the bar! What a nice way of doing it…

I’ve just joined the TA at this place and I think they just use it as a meeting point and parking for the vehicles.

Not enough room for tests especially as all the reserve fire appliances for the lfb are parked up in there.

They bought a truck from me some years ago and they were really nice folks.

I suspect they are good trainers as they’ve been at it a long while.

Hi - probably best to start a new thread as this isn’t much to do with the training provider this thread is about.
It sounds like you need a decent Truck GPS that handles multidrop, and a forum search could help you there too as oddly enough it has been discussed before
If you want a one sentence answer - invest in a snooper truck GPS

EDIT - I see you did do a new thread, sorry

I passed my cat c with them nearly five years ago. Good company, they did exactly what a wanted from a course at the time. The training was good, I had a guy called steve, on a 2to1 basis.

Only downer is there course structure isn’t very flexible as they have no shortage of bookings, so there was no ability to train me for my c+e on weekends. I can’t afford course fees and a week off work so I’m having to go elsewhere.
