You get a few people saying its childish, petty or “i’d never do that coz its crap and the driver must be a nob”. But because of a medium such as Tnet where many views are brought to light you get all the sheep then repeating like echos in a cave that particular view of the very small minority of the over opinionated arses which then in turn makes less secure individuals feel they must follow the pack

But at the end of the day its upto you its your choice if you want to individualise your truck go ahead dont worry about what the RobK’s of this planet think why does their opinion matter to you, Do you walk down the street wondering if every person you pass thinks that your a nob coz you got a tatt or an earring or 10 ?
Or does it just mean then that your allowed to individualise yourself through hair, clothes, jewellery, body art and piercings but you’ll upset the flow of nature if you put a piece of [zb]ing cloth or plastic in or on your truck? I dont think so

And no i haven’t got a nameplate or frilly curtains or a dreamcatcher or teddies but if thats what you want …Good for you …

Individuality is a good thing , The world would be a very dull and grey place without it.

:open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: Who needs a NamePlate when youve got this on the sides to let everyone know whos at the wheel :exclamation:

I have my name on plate, although its not a number plate exactly. It serves two purposes. One it has an Irish name on it which is becoming unusual on an Irish truck  . Two ,if anyone sneers at it i know for the future to avoid them. Its like a friend or foe radar.

Yep, I have a plate, it’s been in motors here and abroad, same plate, many, many motors. It only comes with me on tramping runs these days tho, unless I ever get a job with a regular motor.

Harry Monk:
I passed a tipper today near Stoke-on-Trent and he had a plate reading “BOLLOCKCHOPS” in his window.

Spose it wouldnt be a good idea then to use the forum nickname that I use elsewhere … “Peirre O`bollox” :open_mouth:

ROG:
I have my home address printed in my workwear in case I forget where I live or get lost
