Seems to be the norm to have the drivers side curtain pulled halfway across the window as you drive along, why? What’s the point?
Also, I get that people who run on cb have name plates but loads of people have them who don’t run cb?
the answers to this are gonna be well worth reading
UH OH! Here we go again! I’m going to hide behind the settee to avoid the flak!
B…
I have all the curtains shut, and my name plate says: ASLEEP
Thanks - I didn’t realise it was that time of the month again .
Curtains are drawn so that you can not see the can of booze in the hand
Or the mobile phone.

Name plate to find the right truck after the can of booze.

Your time of the month? Sorry to hear that.
I’ve never had a nameplate in the windscreen or my curtains pulled across my side windows because I am a professional driver and as a profesional driver I would not knowingly brake the law buy doing such things that would Inpare my vision
Still each to there own if you want to be unprofessional pull those curtains and get that name plate in the windscreen

No wonder you don’t have a nameplate in your windscreen. You’d need about 5 of them to fit a name the size of yours.
Ive got a name plate in my windscreen, doesnt obstruct my vision at all, i’ve got it so people i know can tell my lorry apart or spot me from a distance… I think some people go over the top with pulling their curtains across the window but on the right lorry only pulled forward abit i think it looks ok… I should think the only people that have an issue with this stuff is those that drive crappy fleet spec motors on crap work for a crap wage that can only dream of doing something better…

Noooo it wouldn’t be professional to have a name plate …like it makes any difference
I got a name plate so people can see it is me flashing them from across the road. NOT illegal, as it’s outside the swept area of the windscreen (MIKE H on a yellow plate, fyi)
Don’t have my curtains pulled across. If there is glass there it is meant to be looked out of - simple
Hard hat on…
I’ve not got a nameplate now, no objection to one though used to have one, as for the curtains pulled across, sometimes i do, i don’t want my living to be put at risk because some over zealous plod doesn’t like me taking a sip from a can of coke, but curtains pulled across the nearside covering any view of the kerb mirror, nooooooooooooooooooooooo!
looks like no one here knows what a tang is. waken up lads and smell the roses…for those on facebook try looking at this lad
Facebook tell ya what its all about
I have a name plate but the curtains are well away from my windows and don’t have frilly curtains at that hate them
I thought it had been a while since the last old’ curtain bashing thread.
Why why why do people care what the next driver is doing?
Better motor?
Better job?
I don’t no but for ■■■■ sake you lot care And worry too much. You will have an accident one day for watching others.
Why do people have dream catchers? Wheel trims? Flags on the back wall? 7inch satnav stuck to screen? Teddys?
All personal preference and each to their own. The above never get posted and slagged off for been unprofessional.
Suppose I better send my licence back, my name plate is making me so unprofessional.
