when you cross the border at irun first stretch is done to vera de bidasoa so there’s couple tunnels and two new bridges saves couple minutes off the old route already much quicker than over the mountain on the AP15 peaje but there is still bit of roadworks between vera and sunbilla but nothing to delay you especially if you go through early or when they are on siesta
