This video of a man driving a kart along the A50 has been doing the rounds on Facebook - but do you know who he is?
Viewers have been sharing this two-minute clip shows a mystery motorist travelling betwen Heron Cross and the Britannia Stadium in broad daylight.
Staffordshire Police are now examining the two-minute clip.
The stunt, which is thought to have been filmed earlier this year, shows the rider careering round a busy roundabout.
His pals, who are filming his antics in the car behind, can be heard whooping with laughter as he narrowly avoids hitting the traffic island.
One man screams out “Go Mario!” - with reference to the computer game Mario Kart - before he drives down a slip-road onto the busy A50 just inches from overtaking cars.
The camera then pans to the car’s speedometer which shows both the car and the go-kart hit 50mph.
The rider then leaves the junction and across another busy junction before finally come to a stop outside Stoke City’s Britannia Stadium.
Looks like he got stuck on the speed bump lol
If you’ve ever ‘karted’ in the wet, you’ll know that they have a habit of spinning out, some guts on that guy.
Nice bit of fun and nice bit of driving, hope he gets away with it.

There’s just no fun in the world anymore, too many rules, regulations, restrictions and grasses to actually enjoy life now.
It’s a 1 time thing. No idea what the actual point of life is, but for me, it’s about experience, I’m born, I’m going to die, in the middle I want to experience as much as I possibly can.
Would LOVE to have been born to silly money, and just had a party for life, but I wasn’t, so I work as little as possible to earn as much as I need to pay for these experiences.

Wow 6 replies so far and not one ‘think of the children’ comment on how irresponsible and dangerous it was. Good on him hope he gets away with it but I very much doubt it. Police too focused on policing the roads instead of real crime so they will go all out to find him. A lot of snitches about too so he’ll probably get grassed up
Go man, I don’t think I know who he is, although it’s at the top of my road, but hope he gets away with it, no harm done and the world really needs idiots like us doing things that are slightly ‘wrong’.

Decent road positioning, good observation, within speed limit, lacking indication a big but all in a good drive. Anyone hot under the collar about this needs to get themselves down go the life shop!

Personally I think the guy is an idiot !!! he would have been OK if only he had a hi vis vest on, and it was raining slightly so hope he didn’t get too wet, otherwise great for the craik. Pity there wasn’t more like him about.
