My training has finally come

After what seems an eternity I start my training tomorrow morning but something’s wrong! I don’t feel nervous or anxious at all. I have a calm feeling which is strange because I’m usually a bag of nerves before any thing like this.

Anyway

Chocks away as the say in the army.

Not being nervous is a good thing! , long may it last lol . Enjoy and good luck.

Good luck and have fun with it. Take it easy, plan ahead, and live in those mirrors.

Good luck, and enjoy. Pete

Cheers fellas  can’t believe it’s only one sleep!

Ive recently passed both class 2 and class 1 and loved every minute of it. Keep your cool and youll be fine.

’ Chocks away ’ is the Air force dear chap. Good luck with the training Dan.

Tally Ho! old bean.

“One sleep”
Love it!
Reminds me of waiting for Xmas, holidays and birthdays to come round as a kid.

Enjoy it and Best of British.
And just shout if you need help - there is plenty of experience lurking around on here.

Jon

Thanks fellas

Take the lack of nerves for training and enjoy it coz in a few days its test time and the nerves will be in full effect for that!

Ever had that sinking feeling?

Gave myself 2hrs this morning to get from Leicester to Mansfield
Rolled onto m1 at Coalville, an hour later I had moved 100 yards!

Some poor soul had fallen off a bridge so they had shut motorway up to Loughborough. In the end I was only 20 mins late so no harm done but I honestly thought my first day had ended before it had began.

Gonna leave at 2am tomorrow to make sure

Bet you wish you had gone meadow lane - abbey road - iveshead road to A 512 and joined M1 at J23 ?

How did the training go? Which vehicle/trainer?

Hi Pete. Training went really well thanks. I was in eurocargo P22 with Tim. Overall he and I were pleased with first day. He said tomorrow would be ramped up a bit so looking forward to it.
Nice and chilled atmosphere in cab which made the driving time fly by.

Dan

22 is a great vehicle. Only about 6 months old. Tim’s a bit older but still doing a great job!

Hope it continues as well.
