My story - career change

Ye fella been there for sure lol
I know trucking isn’t a 9-5 job but I do like the fact you can ( depending on the job) start 4/5am and be done by 4pm…if I walked in at 4 pm our lass would t know what to do lol not sure I’d know what to do hehe…
I hate the fact in catering if you work normal hrs you get screwed on wages your still doing same job still in charge of a kitchen X amount of staff etc but cos u leave at 5pm you loose 4/5k a yr…at least with trucking you don’t get that as much…

Quick update

Theory’s booked for early Dec can’t wait revision is well underway whilst at work which is a bit naughty but I’m here all bloody day so why not [emoji6]

Just finished my first C+E lesson with Dave from PSTT, and it all went great, I even managed the reverse first time! :open_mouth:
And then cocked it up the next couple of times…

I’d suggest the 3 months experience I’ve had driving Class C has helped, as I’m pretty much used to the size of the vehicle and the sorts of lines I need to take. If anything I was going a bit too deep before turning, but I do drive a long 26t rigid, and that cuts in like a ■■■■■! :smiling_imp:

Yes you can take your C & C+E in one big step, but I’d say it’s probably easier to get some Class C experience first.

Respect to those that passed both in one! :sunglasses:
Well, expect ash 001!

Worth knowing about getting some class c exp first if I can I wanna do back to back but then depends on passing and finances etc [emoji58]
