Well my partner had his clas 2 test on Fri 30th and failed 13 minors and 1 serious was alowed to drive in bus lane bus indicated left partner wanted to overtake and bus decided to pull out without indicating so he failed. Oh well will save some money for a retest…

Hi Rog thanx for that does anybody know if my partner can retest and have a few hours training beforehand with a different company(he wasnt happy with the training from Qualitas at all). Was thinking of phoning some places on Monday. Any advice gratefully recieved.

I am sure that many reading this are not surprised as qualitas in general does not have a good name on here but that is not to assume that the instructors did not do their job well, however, in answer to your query, YES, your partner can go to whoever they want for training, even for a few hours and then a retest.
They might find it difficult getting to know a different lorry in such a short space of time though. Will the new company be using the same test centre is another question to be asked.
I would recommend that a full days training with the test on day 2 be taken with a new company and make sure they use the same test centre.
I just read your other posts in the qualitas thread and you say that your partner was going to use DTT who have a network of franchises and are not a single enterprise.
The company I am now with used to be a DTT franchise but, like many others, have now go out on their own.
I agree with Rog. Getting used to a new truck can be difficult but if you are not happy with the training received then maybe a change would not be bad.

Hi Rog yes he was going to go to DTT but couldnt get his money back from Qualitas so went with them. He said the instructor was ok after speaking to Qualtas head office on 2nd day of training.On 1st day instructor was a bit grumpy and didnt say much. 2nd day was encouraging other trainee and being s***ty with my partner. But apart from that training was great.
