I was based at Geraldine, 140 kms south of Christchurch.I remember Kaikoura well, those bloody tunnels! The pic of me by my truck was 40 odd kms off the tarseal at Kaikoura, I had to negotiate narrow tracks and riverbeds and then tranship the cows onto my trailer back at the roadside!
