My new TGX-XXL 440

Not much special but it’s new and it’s mine so i thought i’d share a few pics. :grimacing:

I’ve said before that i can’t praise Bougheys enough for speccing the trucks to a decent level, big cabs, fridges and Microwaves etc.  Only the engine could be better although the 12.5 litre 440bhp pull much better than the 10.5 litre 440 it’s replaced! :sunglasses: My fave bit is the Amplified Subwoofer to bring out the inner chav in me!!!

Sorry about the pic quality, all off my phone.

Nice! You might want to add it here Daz - viewtopic.php?f=2&t=37818

We got around 150 units (ish) and around 350 trailers.

There are 30 (ish) units based up in Deeside where i am to satisfy o Liscence requirements.

We have just had 5 new MANS and 5 new VOLVO’s.

Apparently they will monitor the performance and place a final order around Xmas depending on fuel consumption.

These are my views and not those of Boughey Distribution!!!

When I usedto go in there about 9-10 years ago I can remember when they had Fodens

When i started in late 03 we had ERF’s EC11’s and 2 Foden Alpha’s and flat topped FH12’s, 380’s and 420’s!

twas only then they bought 2x 52 plate Globetrotters, and then 04 platers later.

We’re spoilt a bit now to be honest!!!

very nice truck mate, and plenty of goodies in it :sunglasses:, i know what you mean bout the truckers rest , my car gets covered in dust if i let a truck pull out when im the way to work. will look out for ya.

The nantwich wagons tend to get used on weekends but we’re lucky at Deeside, mine rarely goes out

I wish it was like that with my truck.

I have a DAF CF.85 4 x 2 artic (AUTOMATIC)
.

and i do the morning shift and when i park it up at the end of my shift ready for the next morning the night shift will take it along with its shiny brand new trailer, but they have been told no end of times that they shouldnt, because some unit and traliers (mine + 5 others in the yard) are allocated for SHOP DELIVERIES ONLY but some night shift drivers take them on the trunk down to droitwich or manchester, by doing this they drop the brand new shiny tralier with a fully working tail lift at another depot, and the traliers never seen again !!!

Even worse you unit comes back with sandwich’s down the back seat, or old newspapers under the bunk !
