Ok so after proudly showing off my new MAN i have switched allegience (Spelt wrong!) to Volvo!!!
Our fuel trial saw us swap anyway but after a day i wasn’t giving the Volvo back, and funnily enuf the guy who got my MAN is a MAN addict and wanted to keep that, so the swap is for good!!!
Its a 60 plate 460-EEV 6x2 Globetrotter with Single occupancy cab and Fridge, microwave, swivel seat and table, TV/DVD is going on the side wall shortly too!
Nowhere near as BIG as the MAN inside but i find it a lot better thought out.
Just been out and got a 12v 16" freeveiew Flatscreen for £99!!
For anyone after a TV do not go to a trckstop and buy a TV, just go into Currys etc and check the back of the Tv’s.
MOST are hard wired or have 3 pin 240v sockets. Some like this one have adaptors and a 12v input on a plug. Hey presto it works straight off a lighter plug!
In the pic above of the hospital bed the TV will be going above the headboard where the big bolt holds the seatbelt style clip for the bed net
ha ha i hear what yer saying,good deal on the tv handy knowin ya can pick them up a lot cheaper goin to curry’s and such am gona have to have a look over weekend for one.I swapped onto a magnum on monday and that has a swivel seat really handy.

They do apply a bit of logic tho, in as much as it’s not an XL Globetrotter, just a Globetrotter. Which for 1 person, for 1 week, is plenty. I’m 6’2" and i can stand up ok!
The only extra would have been leather, but having had it in previous Volvo,s i’m not a fan! This has got leather armrests tho!!!

i had a 57 plate xl a while back, and yours looks much better, on how its now layed out.
our place buy the big m.a.n’s now, so that would prob be my next motor, but beings i only do a week away at a time now, instead of weeks, and months, i’d go for the volvo. to this day, think volvo, with i-shift, is the best truck i’ve ever driven.

I had an fh13 xl with one bunk and i loved it.
I also had my tv fitted on the passenger side off of that seatbelt bolt that your talking about, it fitted perfectly.
Just wish it had one of those swivelling passenger seats in, that seems a really good idea.
Looks very nice, v. jealous! I was looking at them swivel seats, and was wondering if it was just the base that was different. If so was thinking of putting one in mine if i could get it to fit!
