i have changed jobs again an will be driving this mid height volvo here are a few pics in the paint booth in strip mode an will post more later in the week mid paint an rebuild

it is matey bought it out of volvo used trucks at coventry on thursday its only done 670,000 k its a real clean motor an real tight

Its looks as tidy as the day it came back after you pranged it on the M25 
funny you should say that the chassis is mint aint been painted long and all on the front end there are a load of new bits also when i was stripping it everything came off a piece of cake oh well will look a totally different lorry by the end of the week .

That was a tidy one when it left.Some of them especially ogr were in a bit of a state.But i,m sure volvo have tidyed it up before it went for resale.
It may have a lot of miles on the clock.but its plated at 34000kg and would rarely get near that weight when up the road.
2 more of them went to a company that does stage lighting for concerts.And had the cabs extended to globetrotters.
I suppose it helps having a full volvo service history from new and being used on light work.

Here’s my new drive :
ogr and ogn where still there i looked in one of them and it was in a right state door panels where off and it had no drivers seat so it looks like they are using the bad ones for spares to make the others good ones but we are happy with the one we have the engine is sweet and dry no leaks and they gave us six months warranty with it aswell. i take it the top lever on the box at the back of the cab is to lock the fifth wheel in the top position because i can move it up with the bottom lever but the top one seems to be seized

i never smacked that one i was given OHC thats the one i had a comming together with a tipper on the 25 but was cleared of fault by the met police who praised my actions after the tipper pulled out on me for not taking out a line of cars and all that ■■■■■■ carrol wanted to know was i speeding

Hows your back now? a few of the lads mentioned you from time to time about you going back to halfords but you never did.
I only left in may.Purley as it was getting to much to travel in 3/4 times a week.
Best job ive ever had.Pity the one i’m with now was’nt as hot on the defect system.But i#m shunting so i don’nt go up the road.

these are the parts ready for paintin an a few in primer an the first coat of colour i didnt get any of the second coat of colour or any of the clear being put on because i took one for mot but the lorry is in the booth now being masked up for paint but im goin to miss that being done im in hatfield in the morning picking one up so it will probably be done when i get back tomorrow afternoon
