My mum has been in Barnsley today shopping and decided to catch the bus home. On its journey it encountered an artic trying to find a drop and with cars parked either side of the road there was nowhere for the bus or artic to go. The traffic started to build up and people on the bus were complaining and this fella pipes up and says,“Bloody trucks and truck drivers, they’re all the same and think they own the road!” My mum turns around and sees he has been shopping in Morrisons and says to him," I see you’ve been shopping in Morrisons then?" Fella says,“yeah I have why?” And mi mum replies with,“We’ll if it wasn’t for them BLOODY truck drivers, you wouldn’t be able to have done you’re shopping today! It’s because of these BLOODY truck drivers that the country keeps going and doesn’t come to a halt, remember that the next time you talk a load of ■■■■■■■ All the bus was looking and listening at her and the ■■■■■■■■ fella went as quiet as a mouse! you tell the haters mum!
Good for her, we need more people like her, for as soon as something goes wrong, theyre always pointing the bloody
finger, but like you say, we are not appreciated very much, and one day, truckers will stop, then they can say…bloody
truckers, i cant get fuel, food, clothing, heating, or whatever makes the world tick.
Good for her.

Sad, hgv drivers, well I speak for myself, hardly deal with the public, I consider myself lucky, but a hiab builder merchant driver and the likes, must have it hard.
We need more people like this fellow driver’s mam. Sticking up rather then swearing at us, heh! !!!

What time was this, as I was in Barnsley today myself dropping something off at a friends house?
Ken.
Would have been around about 10-11ish maybe. Think it was down Summer Lane or around Town End roundabout area near Premier Inn and KFC.
