Since getting a job on the fish (!) I have had a couple of FH12s to drive.
Nice motors, both 460s, and kept tidy. We are awaiting this years model this month 
First off I have to take this one to Exeter from Brixham -

Then we trans-ship from that lorry in to this one and drive it to Billingsgate and Enfield, then load up and back to Brixham -
Apparently we’re getting a 480 this year 
why do u tranship from 1 artic to another, wouldn’t it be easier to use same vechile or swop trailors?
There’s roughly half a load on each and the 06 is a better truck
The N reg gets taken back down to the quay in Brixham (by the 06 day driver) ready for loading in the morning.
The 06 goes to cornwall every day to collect from newlyn. We meet them on the way back up (in exeter) then run up the 303 to London. The 06 runs nearly 24 hours a day. Usually Mondays there is so much that both trucks go up to London anyway. Normally we double man, but mondays we get one truck each.
