I’ve done the same myself a few times round our area, lost ■■ follow me…
and i’ve had other drivers do the same for me on occasions…
So there must be a few saints amongst us…
Yeah, I’d probly lead him/her, if I had nowt better to do & they were proper lost.

I also did a good deed last week a young boy came up to me in the petrol station, said he was parked over to my right and he ran out of tacho rolls. So me being maybe too nice supplied him a roll as I had 3 and never do print outs.He then said could I show him how to put it in the tacho, so I’m being nice again and load it for him. He then asks how come the tacho light keeps coming on as I had my break. So I do his print out for him and read it and explained that’s because you started driving at 44mins. He says thankyou and i explained i have only been driving lorries 3 years but i was taught by an old guy on the job as i didnt know much either back then. Anyhow after explaining about breaks to the lad I was on my way. Morel of this story is the tacho hours ain’t taught well enough

A Tesco driver did the same for me. I had went over my first stink by 3 minutes. Wisemens like a printout doing etc etc etc but I had ran out of roll. Saw a Tesco driver and he gave me two rolls. Nice bloke and I would do the same

talking about good looking drivers. Had seen a female driver driving a plain white Renault dragging a container. Not bad looking at a quick glance
There was a stunner in the freight office at Harwich a couple of weeks ago - only looked about 18, blonde, slim, shorts on. I thought at first she was with somebody else, then she jumped into her R620 and off she went!
A girl who used to work in the office when I was sparkying took her class 1, and drives (or at least did until recently AFAIK) for Halls of Ely.

Scanison. This young blonde you saw at Harwhich,did she drive a Scania with ABC on the headboard with a white fridge trailer.May have had Irish plates. If so she was in The Hollies a few weeks ago.Young too .The drivers gave her some respect and let her eat her meal alone and in peace.She did not fit the typecast of a female driver.She was petite and very attractive.
My missis wanted to do lorry driving as she thinks she will get more then working on the tills at tesco, she also says its alot easier life. She is 25 5ft 4 and very slim with long blonde hair. I soon put her off the idea

That was it - ABC European. You’d never peg her as a lorry driver if you saw her on the street!

A couple of times I’ve lead foreign drivers around the low Bridge at Wigton looking for Innovia films. My Spanish was about as good as his English and “follow me” seemed to make sense, it was only a couple of miles anyway.
Second time was a Swedish guy in a beautiful FH16 who spoke better English than me
