My dad drove for Lenham Storage from 1970-2004 and we was talking about how it was then to how it is now. He told me about a time in 1977 when he had a journalist go with him on a trip to Italy.
I was in our local library today and thought I’d try and find the article that was written.
Low and behold I found it and managed to get a copy of it.
He stopped doing the continent in 1984 and I’m now working for a company that does Italy on a regular basis.
Hopefully soon I’ll get him to come out out for a trip.
