this happened almost 2 years ago now which prompted me to post them at last. happened at pancorbo on the national between miranda and burgos. the crane body became detatched from the spanish low loader carrying it towards me as it sped round the corner. just another bad day at the office

thanks guys, it was a lovely day, all i had on was a pair of shorts and trainers, all windows were open due to the a/c not working, i had no seat belt on and came away from it with 17 stitches on my forehead. i was knocked out and came to hanging out of the drivers window, got out and tried to put the fire out then just (very quickly!) got some gear out of the cab. passport, cards, fone and a change of clothes etc. the medical bill for 2 ambulances, 17 stitches and an xray was £140 which i thought wasnt too bad. just glad to have got out ok. 
by the way, for the spotters out there it was an ex norberts low ride magnum and the reg was x94 cny
