It’d take a picture and show you but it’s pretty horrifying lol

Isn’t every VAN driver’s picture?
And you don’t need to show me mate, I did a few shifts on the bins in my youth. I didn’t mind the work, but the smell was atrocious, almost as bad as the fish gutting factory!
Yet on the opposite end of the spectrum, I did a drop yesterday at Mars drinks in Basingstoke, and the smell from that place was lovely!
I worked in a chocolate factory for 6 years before doing this and I’ll be honest, I prefer the smell of bins! Lol
Hopefully our 58 plate that I’m in will get replaced next year, didn’t realise that bin wagons cost north of £200k so no wonder they don’t want new ones
Been reading your thread mate. How’s it going?
I haven’t been on this forum properly for ages just catching up now
It’s going alright mate. The money is good and the job is easy enough, just a lot of tight reverses and blocking roads off lol
The routes aren’t quite right at the minute so that doesn’t help but I’m sure I will get there.
Glad you are getting on well mate and enjoying driving a smelly van. Just give it time evil will get to you and you will have to drive something bendy! Glad you have found a company that’s not actually bent!
