Multi man 》 single man

If I started at 0330 and finished at 1930 (double manned) at what time can I start the following day single manned ?

0430 - the 9 hours rest is regarded as a regular daily rest

Thank you ROG… I just spoke to a bloke at TMS and he said as long as I have had 9hrs rest in a 30 hour period I am good to go.

Cheers

I have just spoken to Jimboy and we agreed that Rog is on the ball with this one.

Cue the Coffeemonster when he stops pedalling

Jim started at 05.30 today so has had a 10 hour REDUCED rest period and is back on the single manning rules, as he says. Good to Go.

It is not a reduced daily rest because the regular daily rest for multi manning is only 9 hours not 11 hours

not sure yet … are you saying a MM shift is from 0240 to 1932 followed by a single manned shift from 0446 to 1830 ?

I cannot see any issues -
The MM shift is not more than 21 hours and is followed by a regular daily rest of 9 hours and 14 mins
The SM shift is not more than 15 hours and has a reduced daily rest of 10 hours and 16 mins

Am I missing something?

Not sure Rog, it is an ongoing situation and someone in France has issues with that scenario. Expensive issues €€€€

Part of this problem has now been resolved, however the lorry is still not moving and there is a tale to be told later when the drivers get home :stuck_out_tongue:
