okay Folks have a look through this may be of interest
to those who who require such certificates and have
not been able to find them, THE Link is in German ,
there are 22 versions ,.,.of the certiificate,.,
However download the English version first and then
click on the rest it is easy not hard to do.
LOOK-HERE
will also post it in the eurostickys,
Thanks Pete
I assume this replace the old Attestation form which only allowed you 3 options, none of which covered the work I was doing.
Looks easier to fill out as well.
This has been brought in by the EU I suppose because
THEY were having problems with the old style one, it is
easier and also the Germans Police are let us say a bit
more Friendly and those from Munster so we so, they are
strict but do their best to be fair ,and this helps every one out
Simon:
There’s a new Attestation form, from the middle of December 09, which has a tick box for rest or leave.eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/Lex … 081:EN:PDF
This link has the act of the European Commission on the first page and an attestation form on the second.
Thanks to delboytwo for passing this info on.
This was posted in December.
If you intend re-posting this yet again Pete, let me know where so I can clean up after you easily
Your two (that I’ve seen so far) plus one posted in December should be plenty for one forum.
Simon that is exactly what is on the LINK I posted, if you look there are two
links at each country, the second is the act from Brussels in that country’s
language mate, cheers, this is so you can show the relevant officer a copy
of the act in there language and so have less problems,

These are all laid out in exactly the same way, in every European language for a reason.
The reason being - because line 1 is always … etc, there is absolutely no need to carry multiple copies in a variety of languages.
I would need 4 copies for each weekend, my folder would be bursting at the seams by the end of a month.
I only actually need 1 copy for each weekend happily. I’ve never had a problem. Not in Spain, Portugal, France, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland or Italy, nor do I expect to. I have been pulled for a routine check no end of times in all these countries. I’ve also had fines for a variety of reasons, all of which I’ve been guilty of the ‘crime’. I don’t have a problem with that. Do the crime, do the time.
As far as I know, I’ve never been fined for a none existant crime, for eg. not having a translation of a document that doesn’t need a translation.
Simon ,True but some times being helpful to those who might be
willing to spilt hairs ,does not hurt, yes its a EU rule as you said
but some times they bend the rules to suit themselves like say
the police in Walloon Belgian ;have been know to do,
True mate, but they just look on in amazement when you laugh at them, climb into your cab and drive away.
