hi lads anyone experienced working for brakes, they are advitiseing £24786 - £27540 a year im guessing you use a sack barrow for all boxes of food ect. its the 327540 that really appeals to me
wondering how many drops per day ect local or national
I’m a chef at the moment and brakes deliver to us, been chatting to driver recently, he says usually 8-12 drops a day, the ones we get are caged, drop card off and pick one from yesterday.
Hope that helps

cheers mate yes that helps thanx
Got a mate who works at Brakes, really enjoys it. He has is own round and customers so get used to same area via the postcode I believe (London) Although that may change this year as two branches are merging. He says money is made up from basic and bonus.
It’s caged work.
Where I work now, a lad I work with worked for them for a year. It’s apparently really hard work, hence the decent money. They’re meant to have a massive turnover of drivers…
I went for an assessment 2 days after passing my class 2 test, and they told me to come back in a few months after I’d gotten a bit more experience, then a week later I got a call from an agency asking me if I’d be interested in working for Brakes through them, for less money!! Sod that, I told them I wasn’t interested, as I was then going ahead with my class 1 training.
